We’ve lived in Kinghorn for over a year now and I think it’s disgraceful that neither of us have been to the library which is about a minutes walk from our house.

So I decided to pay it a visit recently and found out it’s great for novels and a bit of local history and not much else. But…It is possible to go online and browse the catalogue of books stored within all the libraries in Fife and reserve any books that take your fancy. These are then delivered to your local library. It’s a great service and means that I don’t have to travel all the way to Dunfermline to take books out as that’s where all the jewellery books are and those are the one I want to get my hands on. Not only can I get them delivered to Kinghorn, they also phone me up to let me know when they’ve arrived. Superb!
