For all those late thirty somethings among us who remember the good old days of kids toys, will remember Scalextric and The GTI Project website puts you in the drivers seat of a Volkswagen Golf on a giant Scalextric track and allows you to race the new Golf GTI online.

If you go too fast and fly off the track, the hand of a lovely lab technician picks you up and puts you back on the track.
