Rotting Floor Joist

Arse!

We just noticed that part of the floor in the kitchen is a bit more ‘flexible’ than we would like and not sure if it’s been like that since we moved in, or whether this is something new. It’s in one corner of the kitchen where we know there has been water damage in the past. Colin went underneath the house to discover that the floor joist in this area is rotting and is going to need to be replaced quite soon.
