The Kindness of Strangers

I Love
I love it when people suprise you with small gestures of kindness.
There’s a guy who works at the petrol station connected with Asda in Kirkcaldy and whenever I go there to fill up the car, I’m normally on my way back home from walking the dog in the park. She’ll be on the back seat with the window down and when I drive up to the window to pay, the guy always gives me a couple of dog treats for her.
The first time I filled up the car there, I got quite chatty with him and was talking about how she’d been running around the park like a looney and he said he normally had dog treats with him, but I’d caught him on a day when he didn’t. I didn’t think anything of it and totally forgot about it.
Then the next time I went there to fill up the car and pay, he handed my card back to me and then gave Abee a couple of treats and I remembered our last conversation. It was really sweet. He’s obviously a huge dog lover. Anyway, now I think Abee remembers him and his treats as whenever we go there to fill up the car she gets really excited!
