Beautiful and simple, this play on traditional scissors is the mastermind of Jean-Sebastien Ides.

Resembling a single half of a pair of scissors this letter opener is funkier, in my opinion, than a traditional paper knife. These are made from black plated stainless steel but I think it would be far better if the designer had re-purposed actual scissors and fashioned them into paper knives rather than making new object…but that’s just me and my constant recycling.
