I popped out to the garden today to check on my seedlings to find that my courgettes have sprouted!

Yippee! I thought it would take a lot longer as I’ve still not got the greenhouse set up and these seedlings are just in small posts on the bench with a small platic lid on top of them to keep off some of the wind that blows in over the cliff.

I’ve planted 8 courgettes in total as I wasn’t sure if the seeds were viable as I can’t remember when I bought the packet. It looks like they’ve all sprouted, so I now need to find room for 8 courgette plants and looks like I’ll be growing some in pots as our vegetable patch is quite small.
