How lovely! I got an email from a long lost friend today.

I’m so glad he got in touch! This is someone I was at college with who I haven’t been in touch with for 12 or so years. I always had the awful feeling that we’d had a row and fallen out the last time we saw each other and have always wondered what had happened to our friendship. Through a few emails this week it’s come to light that we hadn’t fallen out at all, it was just some silly misunderstanding that meant we went our separate ways without seeing each other again.

The weird thing is that our paths have crossed a few times over the years, yet we’ve never bumped into each other, though it’s been close.

It’s nice to have my friend back, even though it’s just via email at the moment. I hope we get the chance to meet up soon.
