Drilling Outside My Office

I Hate

I got some really annoying noise pollution going on outside my office at the moment.

The council are drilling a long trench into the pavement opposite. I have no idea why as no-one has bothered to inform the residents what this digging is for exactly. So I’ve unplugged my laptop and have moved temporarily into the kitchen for the day as the noise in unbearable. I just can’t think straight with it going on in the background.

When we lived in Aberdour we always got notified by letter when road works were going to be taking place, but in Kinghorn the council doesn’t think it’s appropriate to inform people of such going’s on at all. So I have no idea what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and for how long it’s going to continue.
