Splinters

I Hate

Goddamit they hurt!

On a recent forage for firewood down on the beach I managed to get a splinter in my right thumb. It was one of those itsy bitsy little things that dug down deep and took three days to remove. Every time I picked something up of gripped a glass or mug it stung like hell.

I proded and poked at it for days and eventually got it out.
