Now this is something that my other half complains a lot about. What is wrong with using a good old rake and a bit of effort, he says. It’s quieter, more efficient and gives you a bit of a work out at the same time - it’s a eco friendly way of gathering up the leaves that doesn’t bother anyone in the near vicinity.

Unlike the gas guzzling leaf blowers that pollute our senses on a regular basis - noise pollution is the biggest complaint, but they also pollute the air with their exhaust fumes. They seem like a total waste of time, money and resources.
