I Love

Having just bought myself the complete box set of Tom and Jerry animations, I consider myself quite a fan. I always have been, since I was little and used to watch them on TV. This animated duo make me laugh so much that I cry.

The general scenario for each cartoon usually centers on Tom’s numerous attempts to capture Jerry and the mayhem and destruction that ensues. With very little dialogue, as the two main characters hardly ever speak, the drama is heavily emphasized by the musical score and sound effects. There’s lots of violence with the duo constantly whacking each other over the head with anvils, frying pans and other such items. Jerry generally always outwits Tom leaving a trail of destruction which Tom then gets blamed for and punished for, much to Jerry’s delight.

I’ve got over a hundred episodes to watch and I can’t wait!
