Jonathan Ross

I Love

Well I wouldn’t say that I love Jonathan Ross but it’s nice to have his show back on Radio 2 on Saturday mornings. It means my Saturdays can get back on track.

I like a lie in on Saturdays and listen to Saturday Live on Radio 4 between 9 and 10am. I then switch to Radio 2 and listen to the Jonathan Ross show until 1pm whilst I potter about doing housework, tidying, baking etc.

I don’t particularly like watching Ross on TV - he’s far better on the radio. On TV he’s far too sycophantic and his ego battles for attention between celebrity guest star appearances. He reduces every female interview to ‘meat status’ in a matter of minutes and every question is weighted with the “I’d do you” mentality of a teenager.

On the radio his ego dosen’t have that much battling to do and his co-star, producer Andy Davies is there to provide a two way conversation, instead of idle rambling. The music is always great too.
